Street Department

The Street Department is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the City’s street and drainage system. A large amount of the work completed by this department is generated by the Citizens of Russellville. This involves communication with and attempting to satisfy several citizens on a daily basis. At the same time, these employees are charged with the safety of themselves and their co-workers while working in traffic, and around hazardous machinery and equipment. The following is a list of typical work orders:

• Street Cuts
• Yard is flooding
• Dead Tree
• Clogged Culverts
• Ditch needs to be cleaned
• Mowing
• Street Sweeping
